Flowers bisexual, orange, racemes which may be axillary or from the old wood; calyx turbinate, broadly 5-lobed; petals 5; standard obovate-orbicular, wings and keels oblong; stamens 5, free; ovary inferior, stalked, ovules few. Fruit a pod.
