 Erect, multi-stemmed shrub, able to grow up to 2 - 6 m tall. Simple leaves, lanceolate to elliptic, measuring about 10 - 15 cm long, parallel venation, margin entire. Stems are silvery brown in colour and covered with scars from fallen leaves. Small yellowish-green flowers arranged in a panicle.
